bioinformatics , anyone?!

m planning on doing an MS (or a MS-PhD, not too sure now) in bioinformatics in the US

i would really appreciate it if anyone can give me some information on the colleges .

i've already looked through

boston univ

UC santa cruz

UIUC

also, what i really want to do is protein engineering, which is'nt offered anywhere as a course or a subject.

but i saw the biomedical engg in UC irwine ,which does have protein enginering, and was quite surprised too.

however, it also got me quite confused.

really later response, but georgia tech has the oldest bioinformatics phd program in the country
