AmericanStudies Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone here knows if any American graduate history programs have one or more professors who specialize in the history of leisure. More specifically I'm interested in the history of leisure as it pertains to the English aristocracy and the American upper class in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. I know this is very broad and general and has much room for more details, but I'm curious if anyone happens to know of a scholar/professor within a graduate history program who focuses on this area of history. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
TMP Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Maybe you might want to poke around programs that have strong cultural and social history?
