rachaelm Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 I'm applying to journalism schools, which generally ask for three letters of recommendation. I've had two strong internships with editors who would gladly write LOR for me, plus the editor for whom I'm currently freelancing. I also have two professors (my undergrad thesis advisor and another professor I love, who I hear writes excellent LOR) that I know would write good LOR. Do I go with two editors and a professor? Or two professors and an editor? And which ones? Thanks!
tskinner Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 My $0.02: If you're applying for a masters, get two editors and one professor. If you're applying for a PhD, get two professors and one editor.
