Guest guest Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I think they reserve the Helpdesk for the rejects...
Guest guest Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 so only one person so far that posted has won the actual fellowship? I still haven't gotten my e-mail
Guest guest Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 i feel good. i got an honorable mention for sociology. i feel like maybe this bodes well for my ford foundation chances. (okay, i'll admit...i'm a little disappointed. but i feel okay b/c nobody helped me with my application and i'm entering a totally new field, so it's an achievement for me)
Guest guest Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 I got an HM from the Ryan guy, and I'm in physics. My friend in applied physics got a rejection from helpdesk
Guest guest Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 For those that didnt get the NSF, lets start populating the NDSEG forum

I certainly hope so! I'm coming from the same background as you --little to no help and quite unsure of what I was doing. Think of how much more experience we'll have under us next year!
Guest blah Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Is the the end of all hope for anyone else? The end of the last glimmer of the last glimmer of hope that made getting up in the morning vaguely worth it?
Guest Yaten13 Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Not really, just means fek poor for another year.

Guest guest Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 any idea when Ford decisions go out? the website simply says "April" we should now start to investigate when those notifications are usually made...
ophiolite Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Denied - Geosciences Oh well...I'm funded either way, just not going to make as much money...at least I have closure...
Guest Rob Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Recieved GRF for Mechanical Engineering. Notified by 'helpdesk'. This makes Stanford a possibility!
