Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 What time do our evaluation sheets become available?
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 haha, I can't believe you guys checked already. I'm looking forward to mine, though. I'd say we have to wait until at least 9am, but probably some time in the afternoon...or...if they're slow as usual, we'll have to wait until Tuesday.
Guest fdasd Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 The letter actually said "after April 17" I believe...
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 but the link they link to (https://www.nsfgradfellows.org/status/login.cfm) says "on April 17th"...
Guest Guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 but the link they link to (https://www.nsfgradfellows.org/status/login.cfm) says "on April 17th"... Still not here...
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 there's a login screen up now. can anyone login?
ophiolite Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I can't...but I haven't been able to log into FastLane for like the past month anyway...
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I cant login either. But I can log into fastlane. Plus the website is slow. This leads me to believe that they are probably updating the database...
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 there's a login screen up now. can anyone login? where do you see a login screen? If you see one, from what I remember last year we needed our ID number (the thing that was like 100352874 and what is displayed when you log into fastlane.) Also, I vaguely remember that they e-mailed us when the rating sheets were ready. They did it promptly on the day they were supposed to be ready, but I think they did e-mail us because there were specific instructions on how to get them. So...maybe we should chill out a little. Still, I am ready to see my ratings!
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 go to http://www.nsfgradfellows.org and click on ratings sheets...should take you to a login screen
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 dear lord that IS slow. I should probably just wait until tonight after dinner or something.
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 i just got an email (well, it was sent a while ago, but i only checked my email just now). it gives me an address (not the one they sent earlier), my ID number, and a password. but i can't get to the website. probably too many people trying to log on...
Interesting. I did not get such an e-mail. I bet they are trying to stagger these e-mails so that the system won't be overloaded, even though that's obviously not working. Well I definitely shouldn't try the system anymore seeing as I don't even know what my password is. I hope you get through!
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 i'm in. i'm downloading my three PDFs (taking a while, though). honorable mention is 64th to 85th percentile.
Guest guest from above Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 sorry, yes. you're correct - i mistyped that.
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I think honorable mention is even broader than that ranged. I received honorable mention and was in the "79th to 93rd percentile".
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 Maybe it depends on discipline. I was in Physics & Astronomy, and mine says 64th to 79th percentile range for Honorable Mention. Has anyone actually downloaded the files? I saved all of mine (at a rate of 0.2 kB/sec), and each is "damaged" and cannot be opened by Acrobat, Preview (a Mac image/PDF program), or my internet browser....
Guest guest from 2:08pm Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I see. The pdf files are also damaged for me. My discipline is computer science.
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I'm in sociology and got 64th to 79th percentile. I am having no luck in viewing these review sheets. I'm also getting a message saying the file is damaged and cannot be repaired. I'm on a Mac...
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I reported above that I had damaged files. I just tried downloading one of the files again, and it still won't open. The first time, the file was 72 kB, and the second time, it was 120 kB. I have no idea what that means. I replied to 'helpdesk' to ask for help, but we'll see if that goes anywhere.
Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Posted April 17, 2006 I am in CS. I could view my rating sheets OK. I'm using acrobat reader.
