miracle2011
Can anyone give me some suggestions about school choosing for PhD programs concentration on public budgeting and program evaluation? I've already a MPA graduate now want to pursue PhD program. My GRE score is 650 in verbal, 780 in quantitative. My graduate GPA is about 3.5, undergraduate 3.3. There are not any concentration field in my master program although it takes me two years to finish it, several core courses and a long time required practice. I do not have some wonderful experiences or internship in this field, only have worked for some local NGOs. And I do not have plan on tier one school. The field I am interested in is public budgeting and program evaluation. I do want to apply programs with such areas. My paper was chosen for a master student competition. Could someone give me suggestions about choosing school? I highly appreciate. I could not find any PhD students who can give some advice. Now just feel so confused. Thanks for help.
