Citing from the article linked in the thread: The ETH Board is expected to deal with the admission requirements at its next meeting on March 8th and 9th. However, it may be a while before a decision is made. The Council first wants to involve various groups in the discussion. Resistance seems programmed.

Interesting. I'm wondering if/when they will apply the restriction. Does it affect international applicants starting this year?

From GradCafe records, the earliest results were released starting from mid Feb in previous years

Hey, I'm an international applicant as well

The deadline is 1st of may, independent of when u get the offer. The deadline they have on the website for the decision on the uni side is the beginning of April, so you'll have at least a month

Applied to MSc Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. Haven’t heard from them nor ESOP. Guessing by previous dates, ESOP interview invitations have already been sent our. Acceptances to the program should be coming in these next few days.
