applicant Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 Hi, I was wondering about the preferred length of my CV for a masters applications (engineering + public policy degree). Do you think 3 pages is too much? How detailed should it be? Thx.
newms Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 If you look at the CVs of profs and grad students, you will see CVs that are longer than 3 pages. So 3 pages I don't think is necessarily too long, as long as you have relevant information in there. If there are details that aren't necessarily relevant to your program, perhaps you should limit it to 2 pages. I'm not in your field so take this with a grain of salt, it may be different for your particular program.
