cheshirey Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 I just took the GREs for the second time yesterday and did a lot better than last time (V: 610, Q: 730). My GPA is alright. I have a TON of experience in the field (well, music and media), and will have great letters of rec to go into an Ethnomusicology major with a focus on 20th-21st cent. American Popular Music, Jazz and Musical Theater. Undergrad at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and San Francisco State for Communication Studies and a Music Minor. The schools I'm applying to in no particular order are (for the terminal MA:) CUNY Hunter College, Rutgers (New Brunswick - Music History), UC Santa Cruz, UC Santa Barbara; (for the PhD:) UC Berkeley, NYU Steinhardt, Tisch School of the Arts (for Performance Studies). Where do I have a chance?
