glook Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Is it common for (electrical) engineering majors to go to applied physics phd programs? I am interested in solid state devices etc. and have taken advanced coures in physics, but havent taken the physics subject GRE. Are my chances of admission to applied physics significantly lower than electrical engineering?
