evaluate my chance to TOP 20 PhD (w resume)

Hi everyone,

this is my first post in this great and active forum.

I graduated from the best computer science BS program of Taiwan.

And I have some research experience in school and Academia Sinica, and focus on embedded system.

I got 1 paper in not so well-known workshop, GPA:Overall/Major 3.51/3.82 GRE:V/Q/A 700/800/3.0 TOEFL:101 and 4 strong recommendation letters

If I have any chance to be admitted in top 20 PhD program?

really appreciate any suggestion and reply, I will update any further progress of my application here~

What's your area of interest?

I think you definitely have a shot at 10-20 program.. GPA is great, GRE is near perfect (it's rare to get 700 in verbal for a cs student ).. not familiar with toefl score.

I presume you have a good research exp for undergrad.. hype that up in your SOP.

If i were you.. I would also include programs from top 10 program and those in the 30 or 40 ranges... just in case

I have done exactly what you say applying the schools from top 10 to top 30.

Now is waiting for the result
