sosh Posted March 28, 2008 Share Posted March 28, 2008 I don't know anything about Missouri or IUB but went to undergrad at UT-Austin. I liked the program quite a bit. The school of journalism has an interesting range of professors, most being top notch. From my experience, everyone was quite collegial and willing to help. Despite being at UT, it's not a huge program. Overall, it's a plus department but is lacking in career services. The college of communication career service office has great listings for other concentrations such as advertising but virtually nothing for journalism. This could be because of the job downturn in the field, but the Columbia and Berkely job Web sites are far superior. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
