thinkingabouit Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I have been reading this board for a long time. I am trying to decide between Texas and WashUÂ for political science. My focus is in public law. Any thoughts?
LaraAnn85 Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Did you visit and meet your potential advisors? If so, what did you think about them? Give us more information and we can help! I'm trying to decide too....its hard! By Texas do you mean UT Austin?

thinkingabouit Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 1. Yes, UT means Texas at Austin. 2. UT's aid is not as good as WashU 3. UT's weekend visit is next weekend--so I haven't met anyone yet. I've been to WashU and I like everyone there very much.
ampersand Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Hold off on making any decisions until you visit UT. Once you have, you'll have a better feel for how each department runs. Who knows, you might like them just as much as WashU.
