theflash7269 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 I was wondering if I should send in another copy of my transcript now that my Fall grades have come in. Although they do not make a huge difference in my GPA, I took all courses that are part of my major and did extremely well, and some of the courses are relevant to my area of interest. Is this something that I should inquire directly from each department? Thanks for the help!
university99 Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 I also want to know about this. I am taking core content classes this semester in the field I am interested in, and I'm expecting to get good grades and a rise in GPA. Should I send them an updated transcript? And how?
qbtacoma Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 The programs I'm applying to have a request for new transcripts as soon as grades are updated, presumably official ones. However, you should check the FAQs for your programs; very likely they will tell you what the program prefers. However, I don't see why they wouldn't want this information.
natsteel Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Definitely check each school's admissions site because some of my schools (but not many) requested that grades from the fall semester be sent once in... However, I think they only wanted unofficial transcripts for those.
