BE:- 68.9 aggregate no backlogs.(Pune University)

Have no previous research experience, but currently working in a medium-sized software enterprise with an experience of 1.5 yrs.

I would like to have my profile evaluated for MS CS

Could you please categorize them as safe,ambitious and moderate.

Also I have an inclination towards studying Databases so which univ is offering the best research opportunities in this field of the shortlisted ones?

I dont see any prob. with your GRE ...I am not familiar with your GPA system, so I cant comment on that..

I am under the impression that getting in into a master program is a bit easier, but funding is hard..

In the case that you do not seek funding, I'd probably classify these universities as follows:

ambitious

1.Georgia Institute of Tech

moderate

2.University of Southern California (they have a huge master program.. but in some cases,you may not be able to do a thesis. (i.e., course based). If you dont foresee a PhD in the future, then, that's fine)

3.Ohio State University

4.Arizona State University

5.IOWA state university

10.SUNY , Stony Brook NY
