belle89 Posted December 28, 2010 Share Posted December 28, 2010 I am graduating with a BA in Sociology in the Spring and am looking to eventually get a soc PhD. I have only been a research assistant once, have a 3.4 GPA, a decent GRE score, and three wonderful letters of recommendation. Should I apply to PhD programs right away or should I apply to MAs at schools that have a possibility of getting a PhD later on, after I have more experience?
