Unofficial GRE Score Requirement for PhD/MS

Hello,

What is the minimum quant GRE score needed to send for Statistics PhD and MS programs? 

I've heard 165 is the cutoff, 167 or 168 from others? What would be the minimum score one would need to be competitive for all programs?

I got a 167 today and have a few weeks to retake if needed. Really weighing if its worth the extra $200 or not.

I would say 167+, do not retake.  A 170 looks nice, but I don't think people are going to draw much distinction above 167.  165 is borderline, and 164 and below is where I think people should definitely consider retaking for top programs.

@bayessays thank you so much for the reply! Saving me both financial and mental stress by not needing to retake. 

At this point its the last thing I have control over in my application so I figured if there was a meaningful difference between 167 and say 169/170 with regards to admission decisions, then I should study to get it. Glad that doesn't appear to be the case.
