Applicant1357 Posted February 15 Share Posted February 15 I have heard that LIU had some serious problems with their PsyD program the last few years, but I do not know anyone personally who went there. I have heard that the cohort size has been too large, the change in faculty was chaotic, and the accreditation may be in jeopardy. I do not have any of this information confirmed, and it is difficult to tell from the APA website. I reached out to APA and they could not provide any useful information. On paper, it looks like a great PsyD program (Understanding the pros and cons and costs of PsyDs aside). I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the program, if they are currently in the program or recently graduated, and if they can speak to any of the alleged issues with the program.
