kk_29 Posted July 25 Share Posted July 25 (edited) Undergrad: Northwestern - Double Major in Stats & Data Science Domestic male applicant, U.S. Citizen Current GPA: 3.84, Major GPA prolly ~3.9 Classes taken: Stat Theory & Probability (B+, A, A) Multi-Var Calc, Linear Algebra (A-, A-) Regression, Advanced Regression, Times Series, Advanced Machine Learning (A, A, A, A) One Grad-level ML (A) Intro-level CS Classes (Data structures & etc.) & Python-based Data Science Classes Just started Real Analysis on NetMath - hope to submit that grade as part of transcript Research experiences: 6Mo w/ Prof at Kellogg - Data Cleaning, Preparation, Writing & Implementing data-scraping algorithms Current: 1yr w/ Prof at Booth - Empirical Asset Pricing, Hyper-parameter tuning, Signal processing Also currently working a research-based investment job Interests: statistical machine learning, stochastic processes, signal processing, financial engineering LOR: 1). Current Prof at Booth. 2). Instruction Prof from NU - TAed for him for a year & had various classes. 3). Analyst/Manager at work GRE: 329 (159V/170Q) What are some target schools or programs in IEOR that I have a realistic shot at? And open to any and all suggestions Really appreciate it!
