Right now, no, because it's my top choice and there's still a slim possibility that something will come through. But if they come back and tell me that  funding definitely isn't available, then yeah, I will turn it down because I can't afford to gamble like that.

rejected 😔 but it's okay, I have quite a few masters' programs that im deciding between at the moment, and i think those programs will better align with my research interests

Hi all! Has anyone heard from NYU (GSAS, not Steinhardt)? They're one of the last schools I've yet to hear from. I'm reconciled to the fact that it's definitely a rejection, it just seems very late for nothing at all! Subdiscipline ethnomusicology.
