Starting the Stanford GSE 2025 thread for this application cycle I applied to the PhD program at GSE, anyone else applying as well?

No! What about you? Have they started sending out interview invitations yet?

Not yet! I haven’t heard anything so far. 😂

Also haven't heard anything yet! I attended several of their info webinars and they said they normally don't interview people, so I guess silence is normal?

Is that so? May I ask which program you applied to? I applied to SHIPS (Educational Policy). I couldn't attend all the webinars because of the time difference. Do you know if interviews are uncommon for all majors? It's really hard just to wait. 😂

I attended the generic GSE webminars for PhD programs. It was not program specific, so I perceived the comment as a comment valid for all programs... but could anyone corroborate? I've seen on older threads on this website that some people do get interviews for GSE, so maybe they say that so they don't get harassed by applicants asking why they haven't gotten an interview?
