risd digital media( master) offer { 2025 fall}

Has anyone received an invitation to interview for the master's degree in digital media at RISD? My friend has received it, but I have not yet. Does it mean that I have actually been rejected by the school? It seems that they have already interviewed 2.4 to 2.6? Is it because of batch review or the Rhode Island School of Design has closed its enrollment?

Hey! If it is still a question you have: I got a notification in late January for an interview on February 4th. Admissions came out 3/6 (a month later). Don't get discouraged though, it seems like the program got a lot more applications this year (200 in 2025 according to an admissions webinar I attended) and although they extend acceptance to 28-30 people, they only give serious financial aid (more than half tuition to seriously consider attending) to 5-8 people. That said the program has been getting a lot of eyes lately since they seem to have brought a couple of cool artists/teachers so who knows maybe they will keep getting more and more applicants. I would apply again next year

They usually send invites in waves, so not hearing back yet doesn’t mean a rejection. wait for the official word!!
