phdeeing Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Hey, The Vanier Scholarship results are expected to be released in about two weeks, but no official date has been specified yet. Since many of us are eagerly waiting, I’m starting this thread for discussion, updates, and sharing results when they start coming in! If you hear anything about the release date or receive a notification on ResearchNet, feel free to share your experience here. Good luck to all applicants!
Blaisou Posted April 3 Posted April 3 SSHRC here! Knowing that this is the last Vanier competition, it seems like the stakes are higher than usual :')
phdeeing Posted April 3 Author Posted April 3 NSERC Too! Yeah it's the last, and things are a bit hectic. Can't wait for mid April to come, whatever that means!
Blaisou Posted April 4 Posted April 4 We don’t have a set date. Based on last year’s forum, the results were published on April 12. Unlike the other Canadian scholarships, I think we can hope to receive the Vanier results sooner rather than later. lawkey 1
BobertTheGobert Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I think I read April 16th 2025 on ResearchNet. Deatheater8066, Phding123 and lawkey 3
Deatheater8066 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Glad to see more people here. I’m so nervous as well. Counting the days and it’s becoming harder to focus on daily tasks lol lawkey 1
lawkey Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Did any of your universities disclose your university rank or scores?
phdeeing Posted April 7 Author Posted April 7 I don't think I've seen an April 16th date anywhere, I've only seen mid-April on the home page and early April on the overview page. If it's early to mid April, it might come out this week! I got my results and ranking from my university when I was nominated, but that was back in October.
Phding123 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 When you go onto research net and look at 'archived opportunities' before logging in, it says April 16th under the 2024-2025 Vanier for the anticipated notice of decision (I can't seem to add the link here lol). phdeeing 1
phding23 Posted Thursday at 03:40 AM Posted Thursday at 03:40 AM Another SSHRC here! Also awaiting a response. Glad I found this forum. I think April 16 was the official date from last year since I think 2024-25 cycle is actually last year’s cohort and this year would be 2025-26. Either way seems like next week we’ll find out
phdeeing Posted Thursday at 05:22 PM Author Posted Thursday at 05:22 PM That's what I thought at first, but it actually says 2025-04-16 so it must be for this cycle. Best of luck! phding23 1

Best of luck! Where on ResearchNet did you see this? I was nominated last year as well (obviously didn't get it) and we received results on April 16, 2024. Good luck folks! I'm SSHRC as well.
PhD_Math Posted Saturday at 01:46 PM Posted Saturday at 01:46 PM Hello everyone, good luck with the final Vanier competition! Results should be out next week. Let’s go, NSERC team! 😅
phding23 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I stand corrected! @phdeeing was right. I dug into the archives (they don't make it easy) and found the following.
