sarmstrong Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 I really have no idea how this process works, so this question may have an obvious answer. I got accepted, mid-January, into a great school, but haven't heard from any other ones yet. The acceptance was through email and was connected to a prospective student visitation weekend. They said they'd be sending an acceptance package in a bit. I can't got to the visit (I live in Taiwan right now!). Am I supposed to respond to this email? Or do I just wait for them to tell me they need to hear something?
SuperPiePie Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 (edited) Gracefully acknowledge the acceptance letter. Tell them about your situation since you are out of the country and see what they say. Maybe you can do a skype interview. And of course.... congrats!!!!! Edited January 30, 2011 by SuperPiePie

If you have someone in the states who you feel comfortable speaking on your behalf or having messages/mail passed through, you may want to mention that as well. Congrats again
