I couldn't find a 2026 forum, so I went ahead and created one! Hopefully this gives us a place to share application updates and stats.

hi! i was waitlisted at ubc audiology ... this is truly my dream program if anyone is considering declining and knows if anyone has been offered admission off the waitlist, pls lmk 

the program is so small im having trouble finding info about the waitlist and admissions bwhaha

Yeah, it’s really hard finding more information. I was thinking of reaching out to current students to get the idea of waitlist patterns and how many of em got into the program from the waitlist last year. I was also waitlisted at western audiology. I’m trying to gauge the movement in the waitlist for this year. I hope you get into UBC!

thank you!!! i was waitlisted at western last year, but i talked to current/past students at western, and a good amount of their cohort was waitlisted! i heard some students were also let off the waitlist in august, if that eases ur mind at all! i also saw on reddit there was someone waiting to hear back from another program and was accepted into western. i hope western works out for you!!

thank you so much, i really appreciate you sharing that! it actually helps a lot hearing that there was waitlist movement, even later in the summer. this whole process is so stressful 😭

I hope you’re able to connect with UBC current students that were waitlisted too. It’d be awesome if they can share more info in here!
