Applying to PhD as an undergrad

Hey guys! I’m currently finishing my undergrad in English with a concentration in Rhetoric and Writing studies. I’m applying to 5 PhD programs and 4 MA programs, and was wondering if anyone here is in the same boat. I’m assuming I’ll have a much harder time getting offers than those who already have MAs. I’ve spoken with two profs at two schools I’m applying to, and they were very kind and offered Zoom calls and encouraged me to apply which was nice to hear!
