I'm not 100% sure of the reputation of that particular program, but Syracuse is a solid school. It may not be elite, but it has a decent reputation. I wouldn't encourage you to make a decision just yet though - wait to hear back from your other schools before you make the decision. I believe that you would have until April 15th to make a decision about where you would attend - did they give you a deadline they wanted a response by?

Let's start off with telling us where else you applied? Then we can give you a relative ranking amongst those...

Other places whr i hv applied r obviously better thn this.. and if i get acceptance frm ny of those, i would love to join without even a little doubt in my mind..

they include johns hopkins, southern california, duke, etc

only question is if i dont gt a chance frm thm, is it worth joining syracuse??

First of all please make some effort to use complete words. A forum is not a place for text messages...

Anyhow, Syracuse is a good school and even if you get into one of your other schools I would still not automatically just jump on it. Make sure you learn more about the program and talk to students and faculty there. Make sure it's a good fit for what you want to do.

Yeah I think it's pretty easy. Wait until you hear from all. If the fit and rankings are better elsewhere then go there. Otherwise syracuse has a decent reputation and at least you'll be in a program.

you don't have much options other than waiting. Wait untill you hear from other schools and then decide.

Agreed! Really, what kind of typing is that?

Anyway, with the admission you will probably also get a deadline by which you have to respond. Wait until as close to that deadline as you can, and then make up your mind...

And learn to type!

Did vowels kill your cat? Why the hatred?

I'm not hating on you or anything, so don't get me wrong. I just found your post humorous, given that your username is 'wtncffts' smile.gif

Clearly typing skills and legible sentences are no longer prerequisites for graduate school admission at private universities in the northeast.

Don't mean to start a flame war but while I find your statement humorous, I must say you are one obvious troll based on your other posts.

Ha, I didn't even realize the incongruity. ;) It's actually an acronym of a song title. I used it as a username for another site a long time ago (I can't even remember what it was), and it just stuck.
