Hey everyone,

Since I am really fretting the responses I am getting from my PhD applications, I was wondering if anyone on the forum knew of any MPA/MPP/MA programs whose admissions were still open that I could consider as a fall back?

Thanks!

If you applied to Chicago for a PhD and don't make it, there is a chance you will be rerouted to CIR or MAPSS, sometimes with partial funding.

The following programs are closed:

NYU

Chicago (MAPSS and CIR)

Georgetown (all related MAs)

Yale Macmillian (all related MAs)

Georgetown still accepts applications until April 1st

Do you have a link for that? It appears that one may apply for a program in Argentina up until June 1. Am I missing a program?

Here's what I relied on:

The Department of Government offers four M.A. programs in Washington, DC, and one M.A. program in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Ah, I think we were talking about different stuff. I only researched MAs because my impression is that an MPP is a fairly professional degree.

Agreed. But at least it'd be something to do for a year to bulk up one's resume. And since they're more professional degrees, I'd guess that their admissions periods would tend to be more flexible.
