fushia Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Hi! I am from HK and new to this forum Recently I got the PhD offer from Emory in Biostatistics. It is my first offer! But I asked my professor about the information, he told me Emory is not strong in academia. While it is said the working opportunity is good as it is near CDC.(But I do not know whether international student will enjoy the same privilege) As I am outside of US and do not quite know the real situation in the US. Anyone could give me any insight about this university?
Bradley1 Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 I applied there ;but, for the MSPH program. I think they are a fine school. What area are you looking to do research in?

Plus its a hot field anyways. You will find a job. Edited April 19, 2011 by Iapyx
