That does sound funny! I never come across any results posts like that! Can someone give me some search terms that will result in All My Children hilarity? :D

Stanford Philosophy recently left a rather sour taste in my mouth.

'Bout time the moderators at this site found a way to make the boards squeaky clean. Now we can get on with posting and reading results without the drama. If we want drama, we can come to the forum section!

I agree it would be good if the moderators could cut those results out along with the ones that ask questions of other result posters.

Though, my favorite was the comment by the person that got rejected by Princeton: "Email had formatting errors." LOL classic!!

I lol'd pretty hard at that.

It would be nice if there were a way to filter out the "Other" category. I mean, it may be useful, if you're searching for information from a particular school, but having it included in all results makes for a lot of junk.

Also, do the people trying to engage in conversations and ask questions not realize that there is a forum for just that purpose, only a mouse-click away?

Yeah, the asking of questions on the results board has really gotten out of hand this time around. I looked through the results of previous years and it didn't seem to be as bad as this year. I know the mods have lives outside of the fora which include their own studies, but it would be nice if there was at least a way to filter the results. Perhaps for those applying next year...

Meh, trolls are everywhere. I guess higher education doesn't always bring out the best in people. It is very entertaining to read though.

Maybe someone will make a reality show out of this. Put 15 people applying to the same Harvard program in a house during acceptance time and see what happens!!! I would SOOO watch this!!! MTV needs to get on this! Come on...you know you would too. :P

"This is the true story of fifteen strangers picked to live in a dorm, apply to graduate school together, and have their lives taped to find out what happens when people stop being polite and start being real."
