Harvard SEAS (Applied Physics)

Some people posted results that they got acceptance letters from Harvard Applied Physics via e-mail.

Since Harvard said that they do not give admission decision over the phone, by fax, or e-mail, I am curious about whether those acceptance e-mail are official.

By the way, does anyone know the date of the open house of Harvard Applied Physics?

If I don't get any info from Harvard SEAS, does it mean that I will get rejection?

Somebody can tell more? Thanks a lot!

I called Harvard SEAS regarding my application to engineering sciences, they told me that the engineering school ( i dunno if that applies to applied sciences too) typically gives admit decisions in mid or ending march. I was also told that decision would only be sent through postal mail and not through email or phone.

All the best!!

Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Harvard SEAS website indicates that open house will be held in March. If the admission decision will be sent in mid or end of March via postal service, those who get admission cannot get info about the open house in time.

It is quite strange, isn't it?

One of admission officers told me that "All students who have been invited to our open house event have been notified. "

So............
