ConventionalWisdumb Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 I have a few questions about my applications...I feel I have special and personal circumstances but worry that revealing them might identify me to admissions personel etc. So, my question to everyone and anyone is: who goes on thegradcafe.com? is it likely that admissions personel and/or department faculty would look here? The world of graduate admissions is relatively small and I wonder at whether it is wise to reveal my true, super-hero, identity. On the other hand I have questions regarding my circumstances that might prove helpful to my attempts to rid Gotham of crime (ior get into grad school...whichever comes first). Any thoughts?
Gunner24 Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Paranoid much? Just kidding, but my take is if adcoms at your programs of choice are trolling a lame forum like this, you probably don't want to go there. kaykaykay and repatriate 1 1
Eigen Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 As has been shown by the PolSci Adcomm notes, as well as some computer science faculty posting recently, they certainly do post here. That said, why start two posts in such quick succession? repatriate 1
