POI said he'll call, but didn't

I had an interview scheduled with a POI that was supposed to start half-an-hour ago. Unfortunately, he hasn't called yet.

Has he just forgotten, or have they decided to reject me?

I'm going crazy waiting for the phone to ring.

Has this happened to anybody else? What was the result?

Hmm, that's weird. Is it possible that there's a time zone mix up? I had a phone interview scheduled a few weeks ago, and only on the day of did I realize the school was 1 hour behind me! I would have been freaking out had I not realized.

I don't think so. His e-mail first e-mail had both his and my timezone for the appointment.

Is it a good idea to try calling his office?

I would. It is possible that he forgot, or that he has another interview before yours and is simply running behind. I would still try calling though.

be patient for a bit longer, sometimes emergencies happen. Perhaps call 2 hours after the scheduled time?
