Alessandro Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 (edited) Hi there. I have worked in several NGOs in Central Asia for the past 12 years. My desire is to do the Master of International Public Policy (M.I.P.P.) at Johns Hopkins' SAIS. My passion is government, policy and international development. However, with my placement in Afghanistan I can only study online in order to later go to DC do the MIPP. I am between doing a BA in Government at Regent University and doing a BSc. in Politics and International Relations from the University of London External Program. I would like to hear from anyone regarding two things: - Would a Grad School such as Johns Hopkins' SAIS consider distance learning a negative point in my application? - Which one sounds better in order to prepare for such program: Regent's BA in Government or UofL's Bsc in Politics and Int'l Dev (being a normal 3-yr British undergraduate degree)? I would really appreciate your opinion at this point, as I am applying very soon. Thank you! Alessandro Edited March 2, 2011 by Alessandro

Which degree option did you take thought? As far as SAIS looking at your online degree as part of the application, I am not sure. I would try and ask a former / current student about that question.
