I'm wasn't the one who posted but I just heard I got into the MA program via email (but I may have heard earlier than most since I was an undergrad at GW). They said that they had many applicants this year. No funding for MA students. Best of luck!

Gradhopeful,

Are you a PhD applicant or MA?

Have you heard a peep?

Anyone want to claim the waitlist posted today? And perhaps give more info?

Thanks!

I still haven't heard anything from this school - I inquired a little over a week ago, and they told me my app was still under consideration. Anyone have better information? I had the general impression that they were only taking a few people, and there were a few posts on the results board a while ago . . .

Has anyone heard anything in the last few days? This is the last school I'm waiting to hear back from. Website says my application is still under review.

Still nothing here... Website says the same thing for me.

I emailed admissions to inquire and just got a response that my application is currently under review. Safe to say they're still making decisions. Still hope! Good luck to you papernpengal!

Brave you! I am tempted every day to email admissions then I eat a chocolate bar instead :) so thank you. I will forego the chocolate today. I figured that "under review" meant "we're running behind on making decisions so STFU" haha. I will cling to that hope. Good luck back atcha!

Bumping this. Did anyone hear anything back? I've still not heard a word! I'm assuming I've been waitlisted?

I corresponded with Marshall Alcorn a few months back, and he said the funding was pretty tight: only enough for 3 or so lit PhDs. Good luck to those who applied.
