books Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I had planned to make campus visits, but my mom is very ill and I'm pretty much living at the hospital with her so that's just not going to happen. I believe that I can find out what I need to know about each school's programs via email, but I would still like a portrait of the "curb appeal" of each town. If possible, I would like to attend a school with an attractive campus and some access to night life. I also am not a "big city" or urban person; I need woods to escape to for bike rides and walks.

Honestly, all these places will probably pretty much the same...mid-size cities with nothing all that special about them (no offense, that's how most mid-size cities are). Biggest difference will be the weather. I'd pick the school that's the best fit academically, and not worry about the location. isa_cl 1
FutureSLP Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 FSU has a beautiful campus, and there's a lot of nightlife lined alongside the campus on Tennessee St. There are bike paths and conservation areas nearby too. It does get hot as hell down there though. Even a 5 minute bike ride around campus can leave you sweating through your shirt.
