NYU SCPS??

Hi all!

I found your forum online as I am researching about the NYU SCPS Public Relations program - hope I can join the chat. I'm a CA native and am looking to move to NYC this summer to experience the city, especially in the Marketing/PR industry. I have 2 years of job experience with well known corporations.

My questions are:

1. How long will it take to finish the 6 required classes to receive the certificate in PR?

2. Are classes taught in person?

3. When is the deadline to apply if I am planning to enroll in Fall 2012?

4. Are the classes effective and a great learning experience, or are they more for the NYC brand? I am hoping to land a job with a Marketing/PR agency after the certificate. I graduated in Marketing and have been in sales with little PR experience...
