Updating Resume

When is it permissible to add a grad school to your resume? I've been admitted, accepted the school's offer, and will be starting there in the fall. Do I have to wait till fall term starts or is it acceptable to add it now? Just curious because it determines whether I have to send out 1 or 2 resumes (one now and a second in the fall) to this organization that I have an ongoing relationship with.

I think you can add it now. Just say something like "PhD Student, University of X, Commencing Fall 2011", or whatever nomenclature fits. As long as it's factual, I don't see why it wouldn't be permissible.
