Nardo Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 What do you all think about Spring Admission? Is it harder to be granted funding? Harder to be accepted? Is it worth it to hold off and submit an application for fall 2009 instead? Any general thoughts or advice would be great. . .
ngower81 Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 It depends on your program and the school. I am applying for English Lit PhD programs, and it has been my experience that it is rare to find a school willing to admit in the Spring, and almost impossible to find a program willing to offer funding for students entering the Spring. If you wait to apply for fall admission, you will have a lot more flexibility.
luvalicious Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 From my experience it's better to wait for Fall, as many schools don't even consider applications for any other quarter/semsester than Fall.
rising_star Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 a lot of programs don't do spring admission, esp not with funding.
