Why Cornell ECE is soo much slow in notifying the decision on application? Or they were like that always?

I have experienced that Cornell ECE is taking very long time in notifying the decision on application. I am expecting notification which is yet to be made (as per the graduate office ) and also seeing that posts are erratic in the gradcafe regarding Cornell ECE admission decision, although for other programs the post rate seems to be normal.

Does anyone know why is this happening? Should I wait for their decision till April 15?

Did you hear anything from the Cornell ECE PHD program yet??? .....I am also still awaiting their decsion

No, I haven't heard anything from them. Mailed them several times and they replied same. Still no decisions has been made (!!).
