Emailed Prof. Ribner again today: "I am grateful for your patience. A final answer should be forthcoming within a week." I wonder if they are waiting to hear from some people who HAVE been offered funding to see if they will attend or not? If not, then maybe they will distribute funding to others... I remember asking if the 15th was the official deadline, and it is the preferred date. However, if a student doesn't respond to this specific program's offer before roughly the end of the month, they presume the student has declined the offer. I had to pass on part of the package, so hopefully that will make life easier for whoever gets it instead It sounded like he's been calling people all afternoon, so if you haven't had a call yet, I would expect it this afternoon or tomorrow. I live in Somerville but work in Boston so I feel like I've gotten to know the city pretty well while also enjoying a more neighborhoody living situation.
