palabared Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 You might get some better responses if you give more information about what you want to do with the degree? Did you get any funding from any of these schools (how much of an issue is money)? Help deciding!! Please.
Ching-Cheh Huang Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 I'm sort of in the same position. I got admitted to IR/PS at UCSD (MPIA) and SIS at AU (International Peace and Conflict Resolution). Seriously, both schools are so appealing to me that I'm currently going through a tough decision-making process... I wanna focus on the "Cross-Strait Relations" between China and Taiwan, and I'd like to dedicate my career to improving the relationship between the two. I also would like to work for American governmental sector that is dedicated for Sino-U.S relations. As to funding, UCSD does not provide me any scholarship (I think it's because I'm an international student), and AU does provide me a funding that may cover the full 2-year program. But honestly, funding is not such a big issue, at least for now. Could someone help me with some of your thoughts or opinions? Thank you very much!
carpecc Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 I'd pick SIPA MPA DP, that degree looks sweet and I wish I had applied to it in retrospect.
