ahorsemykindomforahorse Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 Heading to Brown for comp. lit. I'm actually a bit nervous since this is the first time for me to study out of my country. Any other going to Brown?
voikster Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I have an admit for Sc.M CS. But the fee is too high and no funding is available. So still deciding between Dartmouth and Brown!
ac/dc Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 (edited) I am having admit for Sc. M. as well. And I am also an international applicant. I spoke with a senior there who sounded very positive about the university. By the way, how much are the fees in total? I did not get a clear idea from their site. Edited March 28, 2011 by ac/dc

ouibeque Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 I just accepted for French... the French and Comp. Lit. departments are pretty interconnected, so we will probably run into each other, Ahorse! What are your interests in comp. lit.? And have you visited Providence? I've never lived in Providence, but I'm from the northeast, so it's probably a little less scary for me!
whitesmile Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I am also international and have just received the admission of ScM of biostatistics from Brown. To be frank, the espense there is really high. But a student there told me that if I lead a simple life, it will not be that expensive. Now, I'm still choosing from Gerogetown and Brown.
