craf78 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Tried as I could to avoid this GRE thing, I guess the moment of truth is eventually here and I have to take it. For now I am working myself on the vocabulary like no man's business. I bought Kaplan GRE book and CD, which I find really helpful. Lately I have been on the internet taking some of those tests too, and I have to confess it is going quite well. Yesterday, I got a 2005 Princeton Review "Cracking the GRE" CD from a friend which I was hoping I could use to get more real CAT tests. I just found out I have to get the password from the book which came with the CD. Unfortunately, my friend lost the original book. I am just hoping that someone here may have the old 2005 Princeton Review Cracking the GRE book who can then help me with the password in that book. According to the CD info, the password is the FIRST WORD ON THE ACKNOWLEDGMENT SECTION. I will be more than grateful for any help I can get here.
Minnesotan Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Grab a used book on eBay or Amazon. It's quite helpful for strategic information, and it'll only be a dollar or two. I used the Princeton book and a few word lists online and broke 1400. I highly recommend it. In fact, the library probably has a copy, as well as other prep material. It might be worth a look-see.
