ugly_duckling Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 I applied to a totally different program, but same school and have heard from the program but have not heard from the school yet. You can always contact the graduate coordinator. That's what he/she gets paid for- just remember to be polite!

That's what he/she gets paid for- just remember to be polite! i actually cracked & did contact the graduate coordinator about a week ago. got a very nice response back that they haven't gotten to my application yet but should be evaluating it soon. so i just need to be patient (which is hard, since it's my first choice: i'm local, i really like the program, & there's a professor whose research interests seem to dovetail really well with mine). so just continuing to wait it out. which program did you apply to out of curiosity?
ugly_duckling Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 I applied to the Psychology Human Factors program. I'm glad you got a nice response from the grad coordinator. I hope you hear good news!!! Don't give up- I was bumped up off the waitlist. Long beach was my first choice too.
