I feel weird replying since I'm already at UF for my undergrad, but I since it's the only place I was accepted I might as well. Hi! I'm going for Medical Geography.

Hope you like Gainesville! It's definitely grown on me, so I'm not too sad at all about having to stay.

I know this is kind of random but have you heard anything about their speech pathology program? Or know anyone who has been in it? The stuff I know is only based on the website, I'd love to get an insider's point of view.

I'm really considering going! It's either there or UTK, and I'm waiting until the last minute to decide lol. I just visited UF on Wednesday and really loved it! The program seems really great and offers a variety of clinical settings. I'll be a 3 year student since I don't have an undergrad in SLP. The program is really small and I also like that!

Hey, I'm currently a senior at UF, getting ready to graduate! As for their Speech Pathology program, it's pretty good here. You will definitely be in good hands. Then again, I only know a bit about it because of my inquiries with the AuD program, which is in the same department. One of my friends was admitted to the program, and she did her undergrad in Communication Sciences and Disorders at UF, so maybe any prior knowledge in the field would be of help. I know the program is ranked pretty high among speech pathology programs; it's number 12 out of 38.

I'm seriously considering going to UF for the Fall 2012 if accepted. I'll be going for a phD in interdisciplinary sciences (immunology concentration). Has anyone heard anything about this program?

And can one of you tell me what the average cost of an apartment is around 1000 sq feet (one or two bed)? In my current town, an upscale 1,100 sq foot apartment would run around 800 dollars per month. I'm curious if I can expect the same in Gainesville.

I'm joining UF this fall for MS in Electronics Engineering. I'll be arriving in Gainesville in the second week of August, and was wondering if anybody here is looking for people to share an apartment, each room being individually occupied.
