allib2014 Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 I was wondering if it would work to my advantage to apply to a graduate student visitation program offered by RPI, or if I should just set up a visit on my own. The application is fairly involved and asks for official transcripts and a letter of recommendation. Would this have any impact at all on my official application? I need all the help I can get, but I'm wondering if the program is geared more towards science and engineering students, while I'm applying to a humanities program. On the other hand, maybe no one cares about visiting and I should just contact professors I'm interested in working with by email...?
rising_star Posted August 15, 2008 Posted August 15, 2008 I would apply for the program if you're truly interested in the school. What have you got to lose?
