Has anyone heard from the University of Alabama or University of Mississippi? I have already accepted Florida State (PhD in English--Medieval concentration), but if I get a better offer money-wise I would consider either of the other two. It is the day before the 15th, so I'm thinking no. Anyways, just wanted to see if anyone had heard. You'd think that if you pay the money you should at least get a simple rejection or acceptance in a reasonable amount of time!

Not to complain, I am very happy about FSU, but I just would have liked a couple of options!

I also applied to a PhD program at the University of Alabama. I received a letter from the graduate department stating they recommended the graduate school admit me into the Fall 2011 class. I received the letter on April 1st, and still haven't heard anything official from the graduate school, nor have I heard anything regarding funding or financial aid. I realize your posting was nearly 2 weeks ago, but have you heard anything back from Alabama?
