University of Connecticut School Psychology PhD Program

I accidentally found this website and am itching to know who else will be attending UConn with me in the fall! I would like to know who else will be going, as I'm looking to get to know my class and also looking for roommates! Is there anyone out there that's been in the STORRS area that can give recommendations on housing? I don't know the pros and cons of living near campus vs living in the manchester area.

I should probably introduce myself first. My name is Sunny, and I am finishing my MA in clinical psychology at Teacher's College, Columbia University this spring. After many of the classes I've taken here, I decided that School Psychology is where I should focus my PhD as this is the reason why I went to a MA program instead of a PhD or PsyD program right out of undergrad as I knew I may not want to attend a PhD program for 7 years in Clinical. I'm 24, don't smoke, and am looking for a clean and organized roommate. I prefer a female, but I guess male can be fine. I'm stoked as UConn was my top choice and I want to work with Dr. Kehle. Who else will be attending UConn in the fall?

I'm not going to uconn but I went to ecsu, which is 1O minute away. I know the campus though and I can tell you living in storrs is cool. The only problem might be that storrs is not really a big place - i don't know I that is good or bad for you. The place is huge and undergrads party like crazy around town. Just my 2 cents...
