Job outlook for new MSW grads?

Generally speaking, can anyone tell me how the job market is for new MSW graduates? I know it varies by region, but if you have any insight at all, I would really appreciate it. I already have a masters and am switching fields to social work - however, I am scared that I will still not be able to find a job upon graduation.

You'll find a job, but not a well paying job. In NYC, the salary range for a new MSW is $40.000 - $50,000.

I guess it is all perspective because I've never made more than 36,000 a year, so 50k would be awesome for me! Besides, we live off my husband's salary, mine would be pure extra fun & more savings.
